Cancellation Policy

The Cancellation Policy is your point of reference should unforeseen circumstances prohibit you from attending a course / workshop you have registered to attend, or in the unlikely event that HandCoach needs to postpone or move a course. 

Please review the policy or the information below prior to registering for a course. If you have any questions, please contact us.

If you need to cancel

We understand that on occasions participants may need to cancel their place on a course. We require:
  1. you to inform HandCoach in writing of your need to cancel your place a minimum of 10 working days prior to the course.
  2. Upon written notification of participant cancellation, HandCoach will refund the course fees less than 30% plus the cost of any supplied material (electronic material will not incur a charge).
  3. Cancellation within 10 working days of the course will not be eligible for a refund.
A substitute participant is welcome. Contact HandCoach with details of the substitution. In the event of illness, a medical certificate along with a written refund request can be submitted to the office.

If we need to cancel

The cancellation of a course is a matter taken very seriously and is avoided where possible. If HandCoach cancels a course (e.g. course running costs not covered due to small participant numbers) the following is applicable:

  1. Course registration fees will be refunded in full to each registered participant.
  2. Registered participants have the option to transfer their registration to another course.
  3. All registered participants will be notified by email. 
  4. HandCoach is not liable for any costs associated with airfares or accommodation.
  5. HandCoach recommends that participants consider travel insurance and booking flexible flights and accommodation.
